The obvious question to be asked is, "What is Boys Club and why are they on your webpage?" The obvious answer is, well, maybe not so obvious, but a little history is in order here. Undercover took a hiatus after the tour supporting Branded, the tour which culminated in 3-28-87, the first live album. During that time, Ojo did his own thing, the world-music influenced Relative, and Gym and Sim formed their own band, Boys Club. (I'm not sure what bands Gary was in at this point, but I'm sure he did stuff too; I know he sang some vocals on Ojo's album).
That having been said... Boys Club was a good band. Many of their songs would surface on the later "Balance of Power" album by Undercover. So while Boys Club was not Undercover, they need a spot in the annals of history. That's what I'd like to provide here.
